About Us

At Peggy’s place we provide structured programs and services for older adults and individuals with disabilities. We offer a safe and supportive environment where individuals can engage in social activities, receive personal care assistance, and participate in therapeutic and recreational activities. We also offer respite for caregivers, allowing them to attend to personal matters or take a break while ensuring their loved ones receive quality care and stimulation. At Peggy’s place, individuals can maintain their independence and enhance their overall well-being while enjoying the company of others in a warm and inclusive community

Peggy's History In A Nutshell

1950 :

Birth of Peggy Miners

Born on July 6th, 1950.

1965-1980

Siblings and Caregiving

First of 6 children to Joe and Margaret Meiners.
Caregiver for her sister Joyce, who had cerebral palsy.

2003 :

Caregiver for Mother

Peggy took on the caregiver role when her mother, Margaret, faced Alzheimer's.

2010 :

Tragic Loss

Peggy's tragic loss in November 2010 due to an impaired driver causing a traffic accident.

Peggy's Place was established in her honor, reflecting her life as a loving caregiver.
